Welcome to My Crochet Nest!

 Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog My Crochet Nest. I love everything yarn and crochet. I've only been doing it for about a year and half now, and I LOVE IT! I have tried for years to be able to crochet, and for the life of me, I couldn't grasp it. I started knitting. I liked it but I really don't like dealing with two needles. On to using a loom.  This is fun and an easy way to make hats and blankets, but I find it limited in the things you can make. Finally, in October of 2022, I sat down and didn't stop until I finally picked up crocheting. It was like a lightbulb went off and I finally understood it. From there I picked up fairly quickly. I am now a crochet addict. 🧶💕

I started this blog for all those who want to learn how to crochet. I will post how to start for beginners, starting with how to chain and the importance of tension. I will show how to create the different stitches and then on to learning how to read patterns and more!! 

We'll also talk about all the different terrific yarns out there and learn some awesome tips along the way! There is so much fun to be had! I hope you will join me! 🧶😊
